About the role

Join SolStak as an OpenShift Engineer to build and operate secure container platforms for mission-critical applications. You will deliver accredited Kubernetes infrastructure that meets strict government security and availability requirements.

What you’ll do

  • Design, deploy and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters in sovereign environments
  • Implement GitOps, CI/CD and container security best practices
  • Support application teams with onboarding, troubleshooting and performance tuning
  • Integrate identity, networking and storage with enterprise platform services
  • Contribute to operational documentation and continuous improvement initiatives

What we’re looking for

  • Hands-on experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes in production environments
  • Red Hat certifications or equivalent demonstrated platform expertise
  • Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to reliable delivery
  • Australian citizenship
  • Minimum two years of proven experience in a relevant role
  • Own GitLab instance and home lab environment (highly desirable)
  • Existing Australian Government security clearance (highly desirable)
  • Industry certifications (highly desirable)
